Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am a driven self-starter and seasoned communicator in the Triangle region of North Carolina. 

I help leaders articulate vision in a way that builds relationships and proves results. With 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, PR, relationship building and marketing team leadership, I help teams tell great stories from the top down and inside out.

My personality is to grow things wherever I go. Whether in the board room, the weight room or the living room, my passion is to cultivate growth that inspires and conversation that betters. ​

RIVERWILD

  • Manage PR and strategic communications efforts for RiverWild and its family of seven brands that span development, construction, real estate, agriculture and non-profit industries.

  • Develop executive communications including press releases, political statements, internal communications, crisis communications and presentations.

  • Lead marketing team members, develop operating procedures, reporting practices and project management tools. Support creative team, overseeing brand development, video production, photoshoots and website creation.

  • Helped launch an agriculture venture that was featured in five publications and reached $500k in sales in the first year.

  • Support growth strategy for non-profit that has increased fundraising by 200% and donor engagement by 100% YoY.

2018 - 2020

YMCA OF THE TRIANGLE

Communications Director

  • Developed and implemented comprehensive marketing plans via email, social media, print and grassroots channels.

  • Developed quarterly reports to promote growth and connect KPI’s to Marketing & Communications efforts.

  • Promoted the Y Brand. Coached and trained staff on expressing the Y brand and voice in their own communications.

  • Managed projects for six branches with over 60 director-level employees who served over 30k members and participants.
